Message from the President 04/11/2012
We have just had a fantastic weekend of fundraising with the Coffee Morning on Saturday and the Pool Competition on Sunday. I would like to thank all the Members who helped and donated goods at the Coffee Morning. The event went like clockwork and I was delighted to see all the members working together for the good of the Club. This was most encouraging and I hope it will continue.
We must also thank Steven Bruce for organising the pool competition on Sunday. Unfortunately we only had two Club Members taking part but Steven's pals rallied round and made it a most enjoyable afternoon. Joyce Bruce & Lorna Angus made stovies and Joyce and Irene Whyte served them in the afternoon. A selection of photos have been uploaded to the photo gallery.
Both events helped to raise much needed funds for the Club. Our next fundraiser is the Horse Race Night on the 17th November so I would encourage you all to get tickets, cost £2.00. Tickets will be available from behind the Bar or contact me by phone or e-mail.
Many thanks, Jim Whyte

Message from the President 09/01/12
"As I near the end of my second year in term, I would like to invite all members to attend this years Annual General Meeting which will be held on Sunday 26th February. It is becoming increasingly difficult to elect a full Council of Management and a number of existing office bearers and committee members have advised that their intentions are to stand down. A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to ensure the club operates successfully and for this to continue, it is imperative that all vacant positions are filled for the coming season. I would encourage members willing to be considered for next season's Council of Management to attend the AGM or for further details on the positions available or what's involved, please contact myself or any of the current committee members".
