Ladies Night
On Wednesday 13th November, the first Ladies Night was held at the club. The plans and preparation for the evening had started way back in April. Thanks go to Phillip Beattie who made up the posters for the club. Tickets were £7 each which included a glass of wine and nibbles. The shortbread, savoury snacks and toffee were kindly provided by Irene Whyte, Sheila Wood, Joyce Bruce and Angela Banks.
Over 90 tickets were sold which helped make the evening a great success. There were over 20 stalls at the event which included handbags, jewellery, cakes, floral wreaths, reflexology, toiletries and soap. Grateful thanks goes to Jim Bruce and Jack Main who were both kept very busy selling over £360 of raffles on the night. Thanks also go to Bill Sangster and Jim Beagrie who were on bar duty, Colin Banks who sold tickets on the night and to Jim Whyte for serving the wine and drawing the raffle. It was great to see new faces and the club full on the night. In total the Ladies Night made £1258 for club funds, making it a very worthwhile fundraiser.

Jason made a bright start and was leading 10-7 against Macduff's David Mitchell. The Highland County skip seemed to find his feet and stormed away to claim the title, winning 21-11.
